A Universal Gaze: The Global Citizens Project

In my Global Citizens Project: Emote Edition, I delve into the essence of the female gaze through a series of evocative paintings.

I’ve depicted seven women from various countries—Australia, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Italy, Lebanon, New Zealand, USA, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe—each with a unique emotional expression. Through these portraits, I aim to capture and convey the wide spectrum of emotions experienced by women around the world, revealing our shared humanity despite our diverse backgrounds.

This project has been a deeply personal journey for me, highlighting the common threads that connect us all.

How it started
